The City of Humboldt, Kansas hired Carrothers Construction Company as the General Contractor for a new addition to their aquatic facility. Carrothers began construction in October 2008, and had the facility open for swimming in May 2009. The aquatic center addition features a zero-depth entry, a raindrop, tumble buckets, a mothers bench and water spray features. The masonry bathhouse addition made the facility ADA compliant. The existing pool recirculation/filtration equipment was replaced with updated equipment. Carrothers is very proud to have built the addition to the Humboldt Swimming Pool.
