PROJECTS - WATER TREATMENT PLANTSBurkburnett, Texas The City of Burkburnett's Wastewater Treatment Plant Project consisted of the construction of improvements for nitrate removal. The contract awarded to Carrothers included the following additions, modifications, or revisions:
Completion Date: November 1999 New Water Treatment Plant, Well Buildings, Booster Pump Stations, and Telemetry Buildings Rural Water District No. 4 Pottawatomie County, Kansas Rural Water District No. 4 in Pottawatomie County enhanced the quality of their citizen’s drinking water by installing a Water Treatment Plant. The Contract awarded to Carrothers Construction Company to build this facility consisted of construction of two new well buildings, new water treatment plant, three distribution system booster pump stations and telemetry buildings. The work included pre-cast concrete buildings, interior piping, pump installation, electrical systems, mechanical systems, and site work at two new well buildings; construction of metal building, masonry walls, gypsum drywall, installation of reverse osmosis equipment (RO) and associated equipment, high service pumps, chemical feed systems, instrumentation and control systems, site piping, site grading, above ground storage tank, aerator/degassifier with elevated stand, interior piping, mechanical systems, and electrical systems at the new water treatment plant; construction of pre-cast concrete building, booster pumps, interior piping, instrumentation and control, mechanical systems, and electrical systems at the three booster pump stations.
